Education

The Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts at the University of Gothenburg is the largest faculty of its kind in the Nordic countries. Seen from an international perspective, our faculty has a unique diversity of programmes, courses and activities within the artistic field.

Our programmes and courses have a very good reputation and we have applicants from all over the world applying to many of our courses, on bachelors', masters' and doctoral level. All of our teachers are active artists within their field and we hire the most prominent guest lecturers within each respective art form.

At the Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts, you will find programmes and courses within several different art forms such as Design, Film Directing, Photography, Fine Art, Crafts, Literary Composition, Music, Musical Theatre, Opera and Drama.
