Collaboration

The Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts’ collaboration with other authorities, centres of learning and business organisations can be seen at regional, national and international level.

Significant aspects of the Faculty’s work, which have received wide attention, are, for example, various projects on design and fine art, boundary-crossing photography and film directing, and regular art, craft, sculpture and applied art exhibitions.

An extensive programme of exhibitions, concerts, comprising concerts by symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles and jazz groups, theatre, musical and opera performances, and also literary events are further examples of not only boundary-crossing collaboration but also interaction with the wider community.

The Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts is also involved in international exchanges with other universities. Examples include a research project in music education in South Africa, Palestine and East Africa and in digital development in the visual arts in Russia.
